| Holliday Dorsey Fife Museum Up coming Events New exhibit at the H-D-F House Museum "Hats Off to You" is a display of vintage head wear from the 1860's to the 1960's. Special features are a feather cloche from the 1920's, a military hat pin collection, beaver top hats, a 1950's Fedora, . |
Living History at the Museum Saturday May 18 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday May 19 noon to 4 pm. This year the popular Wheelwright will be returning with his unique trade to demonstrate. There will also be the Potter. The Sons of Confederate Veterans will have a Camp and share the history of a soldiers everyday living. The Sons of the American Revolution will also have a camp. What better way to learn our countries history? These exterior demonstrations are free to view!! Cold Drinks will be on sale also. Inside, for a modest reduced fee of $2.00 for adults( kids under 12 free) you can see the new "Doc" Holliday exhibit, the local Quilters Guild and absorb local history in the beautiful 1855 house. Please join us for a step back into the history of your county!! |
