As a nonprofit, we are here solely for the benefit of helping preserve the history of Fayette County, Georgia. We are local people who care about our past and want to safeguard it for our children and our children’s future. We are intrinsically aware of just how imperative it is to hold onto our past. Our motto is, “Explore the past to understand the present and the future.”

Your tax-deductible monetary donation is a great way to leave a lasting legacy.
Or, maybe you have some old photographs or vintage items that are of historical value. We would appreciate the opportunity to add them to our collection. If you would prefer to keep your items in your family, maybe you would allow us to simply borrow them for an agreed-upon amount of time to put them on display for everyone in our community to enjoy. We would be especially thankful for items that bare any local, historical interest.
