On April 21st at the monthly Historical Society meeting we will be treated to a program about Woolsey. The meeting will begin at 3 pm. Our speaker will be Jamie Lovette from the Historic Woolsey project. We will learn of the efforts to save the historic Woolsey Church and annex. This February, there are special events at the Old Courthouse and Museum. A panel of speakers will present the history of their church from the 1800s to the 1920s and how it influenced the Fayette community. There will be limited seating and doors will open at 11am. Please join us at the Old Courthouse and Museum this February....

Our January meeting is our Annual Work Day. Please come and help us catch up on filing articles and family information. We also need someone who can scan the donated photos into our collection. We will have Jane training how to log in the Old Courthouse Records. Come and put your talents to work helping to get us in order for the new year....
