Dorothy G Hann, of Inman, and engineering draftsman in the Design Branch of the Tulsa Okla. District, Corps of Engineers, received a Superior Job Achievement Certificate from Lt. Colonel Eddie L Morris. Deputy District Engineer, at a recent ceremony in the District Office. The certificate was accompanied by a cash award of $150.00. Lt. Colonel Morris commended Miss Hann for “excellent ability and dedication in her duties during the past year. Her achievements have been particularly noteworthy in the preparation of plans for the Kaw (Okla) Lake spillway embankment and first stage powerhouse, and the DeQueen (Ark) Lake embankment, dikes and spillway” he said. “Miss Hann’s ability and persistent efforts were responsible, to a great degree, for the timely accomplishment of a large workload in the Drafting section.” Miss Hann received her training as a draftsman at the Guthrie Job Corps for Women, Guthrie Okla. And entered on duty as an Engineering Draftsman with Corps Tulsa District in May 1969. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hann of Inman.
